Managing Time and Overcoming Procrastination

We’re all guilty of it from time to time – we’re too good at procrastinating, and not good enough at managing our time. Both problems can leave us feeling overwhelmed, underprepared, and stressed, but both can be addressed with a few proven suggestions and plenty of practice.

In this section, you’ll find three exercises, adapted from Ten Days to Self-Esteem by David D. Burns, M.D.(©1999, Quill) that can be used separately or together to help your students (and you!) address procrastination and develop healthier attitudes and actions for coping.

You’ll also find a list of tips you can share with your students for developing a time management plan.
